Allegis Group, Inc. is an international talent management firm headquartered in Hanover, Maryland. As of 2018 it had US$13.4 billion in revenue, and 19,000 employees. Founded as Aerotek in 1983 by Allegis Group's current CEO Jim C. Davis and Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti, the company originally focused on the engineering and aerospace industry. Allegis Group's subsidiaries include: Aerotek

A former employee from Portland, OR claims in a review posted by INDEED that working for Aerotek is Kind of a nightmare: "I've connected with two separate branches in the Portland area. The first one was in Vancouver and the agent didn't really listen to me on what I was looking for, but needing a job I went on a couple of interviews anyway but the locations were completely out of my zone. Again, he didn't pay attention to where I could work. I tried to connect with the branch in Beaverton over a year later and took assessments with no follow up. They're just neglectful and don't listen."

Contractor (Former Employee) says

"I was sent for a company in Arvada to interview with a supervisor, but my shift supervisor was not there and they did not give me a walkthrough. When I actually started the job I was horrified to see the lack of safety and the carelessness towards the employees that they employed! The second job, that they sent me was a horrible dangerous chemical processing job! The people there did not care about their employees only cared about the chemical that they were processing and how much they were dumping down Boulders drinking Supply water into the pipeline.Endless supplies of horrible jobs! You must break the cycle."

Spreader (Former Employee) says

"They only care about the number they can recruit. Not their people and how the company mistreat the staff. They never check on you to see how things are going until your assignment ends"

"I got injured on the job and was put on unpaid sick leave for almost two weeks. After I got my clearance note from my doctor I come back to an email sent to me saying “thanks for your service but our program is done” even though they stated that it was gonna be a one year program. They honestly don’t really care about you. My injury wouldn’t have happened if they actually cared about your well being. It’s a shady company. They said the job was at 4 am but it was actually at 3 am. They didn’t have any health screening precautions. If you complained once, you get the boot. The job was like high school too. Everything you say or want private ends up getting spread through the entire workplace. Sometimes they even mess up your hours and your pay. I wouldn’t recommend this company. It will hurt you. 1$ lunches/ breaksHealth, Time management, work balance, employee protection"

Eligibility Representative (Former Employee) says

"- Work there if you enjoy pain and anxiety and bullying. They care nothing about you as a person and this is a company that says you should be empathetic and caring at all times. Be prepared for micromanagement and job insecurity. Poor conditions, poor communication and poor management. I had difficulty contacting my hiring supervisor throughout the contracted work and was micro managed by the active manager from assigned company. Disorganized Management and a toxic work environmentDoes offers some health benefits.Work life balance, non existent! High turnover for a reason!"

applicant (Former Employee) says

"they will call and offer you more money than the actual job pays, then make you come for a half dozen interviews with different people who have not spoken to each other. none of them seems to know how to read a resume or e-mails. then when they actually tell you what the job is, it is nothing to do with anything on your resume or anything that you have spoken about before. then they say they will keep you in mind for anything else that they get in the future but the same person never calls. then if you see an ad for something that you are qualified for and is close to your home, they refuse to even acknowledge that you have even applied to it.zerowasting vast amounts of time talking to lying morons."

So if you love being used and abused aerotek is the company for you!!Lies, lies & more lies"

Paddy O'Brien says

"Was contacted by this recruiter yesterday through LinkedIn and informed of a good job matching my specification in Switzerland. I am a specialist so I was open to the opportunity. The company were impressive.
However the tone of the email was rushed – Could I immediately get back to her and she needed to have my details in by end of business the next day. That sent up a red flag.
That evening I checked out a review of Aerotek by google search. The first review I saw warned of fraudulent practices and lying to the job seeker. However the company was very large, based mostly in USA and had many good reviews also.
The next day, the RC rang me on time and we went over the role. She didn’t have a full job spec and she wanted me to complete a series of questions, including supplying references and updating my CV. She wanted this all ASAP.
This didn’t suit as my day was already busy, but I did spend over and hour typing up this information and sent it on. Then I heard nothing back from her. It’s now after 5:30pm in Switzerland, and I don’t know whether she forwarded my details to the company or not. She also revealed that the job was a 1 year contract and that I was employed by Aerotek, not the company. None of this had previously been communicated.
This really threw my day out and cost me 2 hours altogether. I had another important call scheduled for that day. It remains to be seen whether she lets me know if I was put forward or not. But in general, I would have to say that it was a bad experience and very unprofessional.
Update: The RC replied to my message saying my CV had been sent – I’m not sure what to believe – the call from another company came 10 minutes after the call with her. Co-incidence?
Also – It’s been 8 days – no update despite written assurance last week, and no-one answering office phone.
I would warn people against trusting this company, and I also feel it reflects badly on Nov*tis, who have previously interviewed me in a process that lasted 6 months for another vacancy. They have also recently downsized an entire facility in Cork, so I would say to that company – stop treating people like merde.
Beware *artis and Aerotek!
PS. I also suspect this call was a hoax, coming from another company, to see what I would say if offered another position. How dubious.

Gotta love big pharma. Such integrity."
